Another season of deep snows, incredible skiing, and living in a much-improved lodge lies behind us. If you have visited Burnie already, you would still feel just at home within its walls as before. But you will find it more spacious, more comfortable and more pleasant to stay here. We now take ten guests and have no more than two to a room (double beds are available after inspection of a marriage certificate – we are bribable). There is now ample seating on beautiful maple benches and tables. The kitchen is all new, with a stainless steel counter and three sinks. We did not change the sauna as it was the best in the business according to those guests who have seen it all. The guide’s office and room are now an addition and much to my regret there is a couch. I consider it decadent.
The mountains, however, are as big and steep as they always were.
Welcome back!
Regards and thanks, Christoph
