Canadian Adventure Company’s Mallard Mountain Lodge

Mallard Mountain Lodge, with a maximum of 6-8 guests, no road access, and a 30-minute helicopter flight, is one of the most private & remote ski touring and hiking lodges in the BC Canadian Rockies. Staged from Valemount, BC, guests fly 77 km deep into some of the most pristine and untouched wilderness bordering the BC/Alberta border and Jasper National Park.  In winter, a huge variety of high alpine ridges, open bowls, and tree skiing, covering 5 valleys and  18,885 acres, give a wide variety of touring options to suit all levels of abilities and experience.  In summer, the landscape is transformed into high alpine lakes and open ridges, waterfalls and open meadows filled with wildflowers, all within a few hours of the lodge.

Ideally suited to private groups of family or friends, Mallard Mountain Lodge was voted one of the Best Backcountry Lodges in British Columbia by Outside Magazine. Guided or self-guided, catered or self-catered, packages can be customized into 3-, 4-, or 7-night trips.
