Learn more about Pinnacle Meadows Backcountry Cabin

Pinnacle Meadows (formerly Diana Lake Lodge) is a rustic backcountry cabin tucked into the Brisco Range of the Canadian Rockies, offering a welcoming escape for skiers and hikers seeking an authentic backcountry experience. We provide overnight accommodation and, in the summer months, operate an alpine teahouse available to day hikers. The cabin sits at 2,100 metres on the western slopes of the Rockies, roughly halfway between Golden and Invermere, where treeline fades away, and alpine meadows begin.

A 7 km hike along the Diana Lake Trail brings you to our doorstep, with Diana Lake resting less than a hundred metres away in a striking glacial cirque beneath a dramatic headwall. As the snow melts, the landscape comes alive with vibrant wildflowers, and the surrounding ridgelines open up to rewarding hiking and sweeping mountain views.
