Welcome to the lodge in the sky. The Talus Lodge is a back-to-the-basic refuge in the Canadian Rockies, nestled in larch trees, surrounded by spectacular vistas with yodel-inducing hiking and whoop-worthy backcountry skiing. Mountain souls will enjoy the simple pleasures of an authentic and unplugged wilderness experience.  At Talus, we count wolverine tracks, not vertical feet. Take a journey for the soul to find out how nature connects us all, makes us human and feel truly alive.

We are in the East Kootenays, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Perched on the Continental Great Divide, The Talus Lodge is located at 2300 meters of elevation. Our closest neighbours are wild residents of Banff National Park 3 km away. As the crow flies, Brother Andre is 25 km to the north at Assiniboine, the fine folks at Nipika are 25 km westwardly and Engadine Lodge is keeping it classy 17 km to the east. We are in good company!
