Located in the heart of the Selkirk Mountains, just north of Valhalla Provincial Park, Valhalla Mountain Touring is an amazing mix of rugged alpine, high lakes, grassy ridgelines, mossy forest, and wildflower meadows. The views from the top of most peaks peer into a vast sense of wilderness, from the Bugaboos to the Valhalla Ranges, Kokanee Glacier, and the Monashees to the west.

Bring your boots, your bathing suit and your sense of adventure. Discover our hiking trails and routes, go for a swim in our alpine lakes or venture off track and scramble up to the top of our majestic peaks. Whether you’re here for 5 days or 50, there’s something new to find every day.

Operating since 1978. Based out of a beautiful timber frame lodge with electricity, flush toilets, showers and six private guest rooms. Guaranteed access via Snowcat every Sunday (with emergency/necessary trips in and out). 300 to 1000 metre runs in terrain evenly split between glades, treeline and alpine, with tons of ski descents starting from peaks and ridges and ending at the lodge.

Stroll on paths and trails in summer to access flower-filled ridges with big mountain views, peaks, and alpine lakes. These are perfect for hikers, photographers, wildlife, and wildflower viewing.
