Cariboo-Chilcotins

Whitecap Alpine Adventures

We are a mountain adventure company dedicated to providing distinctive backcountry skiing and snowboarding trips in the South Chilcotin Mountains of British Columbia.

In the winter, Whitecap Alpine is perfectly situated to bear the brunt of snow-loaded storms as they move inland from the Pacific Ocean to the Coast Range. The snowfall is slightly cooler and drier than the snowfall that is closer to the coast. Our goal is for you to explore these mountains and discover the excellent and challenging skiing here. With an emphasis on service and safety, we can guide you through this exceptional terrain with its perfect alpine bowls, mountain summits, long glacial descents, and fantastic deep powder glades right outside the door.

We also offer an early winter Avalanche Skills Training (AST) Level 2 course at the lodge. In the summer, we open the lodge to hiking trips, guiding guests through wild-flower-filled meadows, up spectacular alpine ridges, and through the forest to our infamous lakeside sauna.
